Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
CVForge is a simple, free tool for building a CV. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use it.
Where your data lives
Everything you type into the CV editor — your name, contact details, work history, and everything else — is stored only in your own browser, using a technology called local storage. We do not operate a server-side database, and your CV content is never sent to or stored on our servers.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
Your control over your data
Because your data lives in your browser, it will not automatically appear on another device or browser. You can permanently delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this page.
Future changes
If CVForge later adds accounts or cloud sync, this policy will be updated first to clearly explain what changes and why, before any such feature is enabled.
